"The lime pie is the best option to end your dinner at A Cultura do Hambúrguer. Before that, and to go to Bica with a full stomach, order one of the burgers. In the summer of 2014, the best burgers in the area arrived in Bairro Alto, Lisbon. Cultura do Hambúrguer opened its first restaurant on Rua das Salgadeiras. Four years later, they opened a new space in the city with the same suggestions that customers are used to, such as the lime pie for dessert.

The new burger joint is also in Bairro Alto, on Rua da Atalaia, and opened at the end of October. It is actually not very far from the first one. Google Maps tells us that they are only 160 metres apart and that it takes two minutes to walk between them. The new restaurant is much larger than the first one, with capacity for 60 people and a small indoor garden

The burger options are identical. There is the New York, with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato and garlic mayonnaise), the Lx, with gorgonzola, pepper, fried onion, watercress, tomato and garlic mayonnaise, the Spicy Chorizo, with Serra cheese and garlic mayonnaise. If you don't want to go for the burgers, there are steak sandwiches to choose from. Order the Camões, with Ilha cheese, cherry tomatoes, arugula and garlic mayonnaise, served in an olive bolo do caco, or the Cultura, with Manchego cheese, pancetta and basil mayonnaise — this one in a carob bolo do caco. All steak sandwiches and burgers come with fries and homemade mayonnaise. There are also salads and a cheese board for starters if there is room. To finish, the key lime pie is a must, served with lemon whipped cream. The chocolate mousse and homemade chocolate cake are other dessert options.
